ACCESS FOR WINDOWS
** COURSE DESCRIPTION **

INTRODUCTION

Access Introduction teaches basic database concepts and reviews the features of Access. Students will design databases, learn how to create and modify tables, create queries, use filters, create and modify forms, create and modify reports, and enhance forms and reports.

Prerequisite: Windows Introduction or equivalent course knowledge.

INTERMEDIATE

Access Intermediate reviews basic database concepts and teaches intermediate database skills. Students learn how to create relational databases, work with related tables, use subforms, maintain data integrity, use advanced form features, use advanced report features, use advanced query features, use advanced queries, and work with charts.

Prerequisite: Access for Windows Introduction or equivalent course knowledge.

ADVANCED

In Access Introduction to Application Development, students learn how to design Access applications; create controls, macros, dialog boxes, custom switchboards, and keyboard shortcut macros; and protect and replicate databases.

Prerequisite: Access for Windows Intermediate or equivalent course knowledge.
