Internet Fundamentals introduces students to the basic concepts of the Internet. Students examine the Internet and its uses and examine networks to better understand how the Internet works. Students explore requirements and options for connecting to the Internet, become acquainted with the World Wide Web, use search engines, and examine additional resources to access Internet information. Students also examine and use e-mail to communicate with other users on the Internet. Finally, students explore newsgroups and use Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer. Prerequisite: None.
