Tyco Employee Purchase Program Overview

Tyco International recognizes the increasingly important role computers will play in our future. That is why we have made the commitment to help employees afford the latest computer technology for their personal use. Tyco’s Employee computer Purchase Program is designed especially to give employees with little experience on computers the opportunity to use them. It may also enable employees to help their children with their education by providing them with a computer.

An employee with at least six months of service with the company may finance the purchase of one computer package through this program. Purchases financed through payroll deduction must be part of an announced package printed by NECB Data Systems for this program. Employees may borrow up to $2,500.00 of the cost of the package and will repay the company by payroll deduction over 18 months with no interest charges. Locations may choose to limit the number of computers ordered each month. Employees wishing to have payroll deductions made over a shorter period may do so and should note this on the original promissory note. Once the full amount of the computer package has been deducted from payroll, the employee may purchase another computer through this program.

The employee should give to the person coordinating the program at his/her location:

A copy of the computer special the employee wants to order

A completed and signed Loan Agreement form.

A completed and signed Promissory Note

A personal check for 10% of the total amount of the package made out to NECB

The local computer purchase coordinator should first FAX and then mail to NECB:

A completed and signed copy of the Loan Agreement , Promissory Note, and copy of computer special

The employee’s check for 10% made out to NECB

A Check from the location for the remaining 90% of the cost made out to NECB on behalf of the employee if available

The local computer purchase coordinator should mail to payroll at Tyco in Exeter:

A copy of the computer special the employee is purchasing (may be faxed)

A copy of the completed and signed Loan Agreement

A copy of the completed and signed Promissory Note

A copy of both checks

All of these must be completed before the computer will be shipped. Any other arrangements should be made with payroll at Tyco in Exeter, NH, phone 603-778-9700, fax 603-778-9260. Call Cathy Young at NECB at

Employees wishing to purchase computers without using the financing program may do so, but should order directly from NECB and should not use the order forms for this program. Computers will generally be received within two weeks of the date the payment is received from the location. In recent months prices and products have been changing on an almost weekly basis.

* IMPORTANT* We strongly encourage employees interested in purchasing a PC to call NECB at the exacting time of their interest to be assured they have the most up-to-date price list along with carefully reading the product descriptions which are sent to all locations.
