A message from NorthEast Community Bank concerning coronavirus (COVID-19).

Dear Customer:

You are an integral part of our NorthEast Community Bank family. Amid concerns about the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to reiterate that the safety of our customers and employees is our priority. We are in constant communication with our employees and have provided educational tools to reinforce their knowledge about the coronavirus and how they can help prevent its spread.

We monitor the latest reports of the virus in the markets in which we operate, and have implemented preventative measures to protect everyone’s health and preserve the continuity of the services we offer.

We have contacted health institutions to learn more about this virus to have a better understanding of its possible impact on our operations.

In addition, we have instituted a sanitation process using disinfectants approved by the Center for Disease Control. All of our offices are wiped down with this disinfectant at various times throughout the day. All tellers have been instructed to use gloves during business hours and customer service representatives use hand sanitizers after serving every customer. All NECB personnel have been instructed not to shake hands with customers.

Other measures are the installation of automatic hand sanitizers at the entrance to each office. Please use them when entering our offices as they are for your protection as well as ours. Sneeze guards are being installed at teller stations to help prevent the airborne spread of the virus.

We have established protocols for different possible scenarios that we may have to address. All departments within the Bank have been divided into teams and will take turns working from remote locations to help ensure that services can be provided with as little interruption as possible.

NECB’s drive-up teller lanes are available for your use at various offices and are a convenient way to conduct your business when face-to-face transactions are not required.

Our ATM machines provide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service and are wiped down regularly with disinfectant.

Our digital services allow you to conduct a variety of transactions without visiting an office. They are available 24 hours a day and offer access to accounts and balance verifications, deposits and withdrawals, bill payments, transfer of funds between accounts and management of business accounts through our online banking system.

Telephone banking is also available 24 hours a day. Telephone Banking offers a variety of automated services. The number to call is 877-GO4-NECB.
